Master Foods Candy

Master Foods was first registered in 1945 and started as a repackaging company. The original repackaging company was called Mars Food. Henry Lewis founded Mars Food in 1926. The company went through a lot of stock purchases and restructuring in its years. What is amazing is how it is a family business has stayed in tact and passed down from generation to generation.

The company was initially an importer of food products and later on went into manufacturing. The company has a tremendous product line. This article focuses on the candy products. These are particularly related to the M&M Mars business section of Master Foods. M&M Mars is the largest candy and chocolate company in the world. At the time of writing this article they had annual sales of more than $20 billion dollars. M&M Mars is the worlds third largest privately held company. The M&M candy is one of the world's top selling candies. The company has offices globally with main offices right here in New Jersey. The company has many manufacturing facilities in the United Sates such as in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

This product group has many of the most popular Master Food and M&M Mars candy products. These include M&Ms, Milky Way, Snickers and Twix Bars. My favorite is the Snickers candy bar. Mars is known as a top quality company and manufacturers some of the best-loved chocolate and confectionery products in the world. The company operates in over 65 countries.
